I searched around for this thread using every word combo I can think of. Someone here did a few conversions for the C4 using a late 80's Trans Am dash that looked pretty good. The gauges were mostly compatible because of lineage and what wasnt was fairly easy to convert. It was mostly establishing a ground circuit and making a new bezel and making the new connectors for the set up.
Anyone remember this being done and have better search skills than me? The search skill part includes just about everybody.

Thanks!
Pics of that C4 with late 80's T/A dash and gauges would be interesting to see.
Man, I would love to have one but $750 and higher is out of the budget. Even the gauges separately are pretty expensive. I can get the Bird dash for less than $100 and prolly less than an additional $100 to buy the stuff to complete it.
I actually like this better than the stock dash. Looks like it simplify's life when driving it. I think it looks better, is easier to read maybe its time for me to make something like this myself.
The cruise is also an issue with the Bird conversion. Apparently the cruise module is a stand alone instead of being incorporated into the dash. I do like cruise for the road trips.
I'll have to throw some more pictures out there after the interior project.....going with white interior, dark blue carpet with blue insert in the seats to match the GS admiral blue stripe down the middle......fun to watch the Auto Meter tach scale up to 7 with the mini equipped power plant too.......
No, it's NOT a low budget C4........
