lifters question
I drive an 84 and my lifters are beating a little high! I was just wondering if your sappost to do the cam with the lifters or if you can extract them without? And maybe if anyone has done this they can shoot me a round about price for this job... that would be awesome thanks!

Beating a little high? Do you mean they're noisy? Have you tried adjusting the valves?

Sapposed to take the intake off then the lifters simply pull out by hand.
Need more info there, on the riding high noise and all.

Maybe because im a lifter swapping maniac !
To the OP :
Adjust valves first, the noise might go away
Double check if its not an exhaust leak (fooled me)
Lifters are not attached to the cam,you can pull them without touching the cam
its a quick and easy job if you know how to pull the intake
But check above first

I hope the oil pressure is OK. Does it sound like 1 or all of them?
