Need new motor!!!!!!!
I think that the old L98 is about to blow, I am wondering is it worth trying to rebuild this engine, or just go ahead and stick in a zz4. I have and 86, and
steel heads. :nopity :confused: :confused: :confused: :confused:

Hmm,you're engine is worth a fortune since its the only one known to exist with steel heads.:), They are actually cast iron.:D Hey, my L98 with aluminum D ports is for sale.:D

I guess you should ask yourself what exactly you want to do with the car? If you want to keep it stock, rebuild the L98. I know the ZZ4 is a more powerful engine than the stock L98, but you can probably rebuild yours for less money. And if you throw in some performance parts while you are doing the rebuild, then you'll probably be able to get some good power out of it as well.
