Hi, I am about to install a fm modulated CD changer to my factory BOSE sound system.
Therefore I need a constant 12 V, switched igniton and ground.
As the Changer has a rating of only 1 amp I plan to splice into the radio harness to get the voltages.
Is there any reason I should not do this? The Changer has a separate fuse and 1 amp should not matter right?
Which would be the colors I have to look for in my 88 factory radio harness?
If the 88 is like my 87, in the wires going to the radio, yellow is 12v from the ign sw, orange is hot all the time, and the black wire on terminal G goes to ground.
