Instrument panel light replace on 85 Corvette coupe
I recently had the dash cover off, but don't remember seeing any bulbs from the top....Please advise if you've 'been there, done that'. Thanks.
1. Headlight switch ****.
2. Tilt-wheel lever. (Tilt the wheel down and out all the way first.)
Then it is just a bunch of screws, and pull it off carefully.
You will see 4 silver plugs that you cna pull out. Behind those are the bulbs. :)
if you haven't bought your new bulbs, don't go to your local GM dealer, if i'm not mistaken, they go for somewhere around $10 each (???). anyway, get replacement bulbs from a local NAPA dealer. they are GE bulbs - probably the same that GM uses. they are about 1/2 price. while you're at it, replace all 4 bulbs at once - if not, as soon as you put the last screw in, another bulb will go out - hope this helps
BTW, welcome to the forum!

Thanks a bunch for the info. I'll surely make a trip to the NAPA place for All the bulbs as you advised. I'm new to Corvettes, and so far it's been a gas!
