The aux fan goes in front of the air conditioning condenser out under the front bumper in the big void where the air goes in. In front of the radiator, under the front of the snorkle where the air filter is, there are 2 holes with bolts that are supposed to hold the top of it. Take your air filter and housing off, and look under it. You will see those bolts.
You can use the aux fan as an assist in keeping the air conditiong much colder as the aux fan blows air directly on the condenser, aiding in cooling down the inside of the car in summer and aiding airflow through the radiator that is restricted in airflow by having the condenser right in the direct cooling air path to the radiator.
I have hooked the aux fan to the main fan by having the main fan power turn on the aux fan power relay coil so when the big fan comes on, the little one does as well.
You really don't need the aux fan on, on the freeway, you need it on around town. THe engine computer turns off the fan above 35mph, so it's perfect.......below 35 the air conditioner needs all the help it can get, so that's why I hooked mine up that way.
