Default 86 brake master cylinder question

Does anyone know what years a brake master cylinder will fit an early 86.
It has one round reservoir on it but when I looked at a replacement there was 2 reservoirs.
Do I have an oddball or dud I get an guy at the part store that just got the wrong part?

The 86 Vettes came with a one reservoir master cylinder. You should be able to fine one at the many Corvette parts houses.

My 86 has two reservoirs on it but it seems to be a mutt with an 88. I was wondering what is the difference between the two?

The bodies appear the same; only the reservoir config is different.
I have '87 ( single ) and '89 /'90 ( dual ) MC's here and all have the same PBR casting # on the body

bench bleed it prior to installing and you will only have to do minimal if any bleeding the 86-87 have single res's like the clutch . I had trouble getting one from the venders and went to Kragens and got a rebuilt one for $82, hope this helps
