Default tpi intake/filter

i was wondering if anyone was running a filter like this it seems pretty simple and its the kind ive ran on all my vehicle



Thanks for all the help guys. im getting the itch for spring since nj was hammered with snow this winter and im laid up with a broken ankle for the next 6 weeks

If you're putting this on a C4, you'll get a lot more square inches (and flow) through a stock sized K&N, the stock C4 filter is huge and pulls cold air pretty good.

with the above, the stock filter has much more surface then that aftermarket filter. I would stick with the stock system....WW

i guess ill just buy that smooth peice that goes between the filter and the throttle body

Wont make any more power but does look better.

On a MAF car (88) you can't just remove the duct work and what not in front of the TB and bolt that K&N cone style filter on. On a MAP car yes but then you'd still have the hot air issues. The stock setup breathes pretty well.
