Well, I've already got too much $$ dumped into parts that I have yet to install, so what is another $20 to maybe save the $310 clutch and hours of my time replacing it.
Plus it gave me an excuse to add more to the order that I had been meaning to do.
Rear Main Seal (FelPro)
Header Gaskets (FelPro)
Intake Seal (FelPro)
Rear Y-Pipe (Flowmaster)

my clutch is about done. they were bolting up the tranny - and that was an hour ago. it should be done within the hour. I will pick it up after dinner.
The hurst shifter is in - man - that feels like a rifle bolt, now! IMPRESSIVE.
this is what I had done:
Clutch
flywheel
beam plates
rear main seal
drive shaft ujoints
hurst shifter
all for $487.00
not too bad!!!
