So other than making it sound like a tractor what do they do
it's not as if you have tuned length headers and a proper collector
The O2 sensor would be exposed to outside air with the caps esp at idle off so that blows your fuel calibration out the window

......... Some tracks might have a problem with your blowtorches melting their pavement , rubber , and VHT traction compound ....... you might need some turn-outs

Electric motor actuated exaughst cutouts are neat.

I installed one on a friends 1987 Buick Grand National GNX about 6 years back in Joliet Illinois.

He had a 10 second track car on slicks. Non stock engine and way bigger turbo than stock.

On the street spinning drag radials wildly at will, was a solid mid to low 12 second car.

Installed the cutout where the factory catalytic converter would be on the passenger side undcarriage area. Well downstream from the O2 sensor.

The extra noise and the Turbo spooling up wildly with the Cutout opened up was Very Cool on the street !

The car felt quicker by the seat of the pants riding shotgun with my friend.

He was happy with the performance and extra noise and fun on the street.

He gladly paid me $125.00 for my time and workmanship.

Should be fun on a normally aspirated street driven C4 too.

Putting up a 48" x 30" 900Kb file doesn't help either

They are blacktop - asphalt melters. LOL

They are going to be real loud uncorked.

If your Vette was a Harley Davidson with similar exaughst I would call them grass burners.

Need to ride by your local State Police Station on a nice summer day with your Vette with the exaughst opened up and floor your Vette and dont lift off the gas for 30 seconds.

LOL

Find out which cops are hotrodders and how many of them like C4 Corvettes or not.

it was just somthing to do, I plan to later get a new Y-pipe and make them accept a set of headers, along with proper cutouts.

I just cut a window across the top, gutted them and then just welded the tops back in.
