Has anyone put an LS2 or LS3 engine in a C4? If som how difficult was the install ?
I put a LS2 in my C4, it wasn't hard and Id do it again if I had another. It all comes down to how lazy you want to be. You can pay for a wire harness to be done or do it yourself. You can buy a D44 to make up the one inch short drive train or make a bracket. You can make special headers and run AC or you can do without it.
It all matters on year too. If you have a pre LT1 they make a bracket for LS1 conversion. If you have LT1 version motor will drop right in.

Track was wet and I had rear suspension issues ( forgot to put my sway bar brackets on) Its sitting right and hopefully it will improve my times. It handles great other wise. The final weight so far is 3000 curb weight.

I had a hard time reading the ET & MPH. Looks like 12.63 @ 113.6 mph. Is that right?
I have a '92 that we converted from the LT1 to a GM Performance LS3 "hot cam" crate engine. Go to my profile and look at the threads I started. The one entitled "LT1 conversion to LS3 hot cam" has a lot of details. That thread also has my photobucket identified. Once in the photobucket, look for the album named "build of C4orce2". That album has 30 or so pics of the build. It is the second car in the C4orce Project that was started by Corvette Fever some time ago. Right now it has approximately 512 SAE net HP and I am tuning it this week. Once I have the final numbers I will post them to the thread. At a car show in southern AZ this last weekend I met a guy with a "70 Chevell with the same engine in it. He loves it also. I am not aware of anyone else with an LS3 hot cam crate engine in a C4, especially not one with a computer interface that allows us to use both the old and new computers so all the digital dash functions were saved. Enjoy the pics.
