Anybody know how to change the taillight bulbs in an '84? I looked in the owners manual and it said to reach the inboard through the opening behind the license plate and the outboard from underneath. I can't reach more thn a few inches going in through this way. Just wondering if there was a trick to it. Thanx.
Hire a small child! Use 3 bottles of vaseline and coat your arms. Hit your brakes hard and get rear ended, then insurance will replace them. Seriously!
I'm not built like Popeye but I considered all of the above!
LOL!!!!!! I know what you mean! I figured I needed an arm about an inch in diameter, 4 feet long with at least 4 elbows. i may have to take it into the shop and let them try it. Thanx
For those not steeped in C4 design history- The heater core placement, oil pressure sending unit and the tail light arrangement were designed by the same man.

remove the rear license plate. reach in and remove the bulb. Now to get to the outer ones, remove the inner lights plastic lenses. 2 10 mm bolts. remove the lenses and use the openings to remove the outers.
