Guys first time post, I have a 1990 Greenwood Corvette with a headlight problem, the problem is this:
Left headlight (driver side) works fine, Right headlight (passenger side) will not go up when turned on, but after I manually raise it, it will go down when lights are turned off. It may be a simple fix, I just want to know if anybody could tell me where to start first. Wiring, bad headlight module, gearing, etc? When I turn lights on I cannot hear the motor working at all.
I believe your problem is that the plastic bushings are worn out. Not too hard to fix. There is a kit you can buy from the normal Corvette suppliers that contains fresh bushings. If you do a search on the bushings, you will also find a post with the part number for the bushing and you can get them from Home Repo - no corvette tax! Takes a couple of hours - I would do both sides while you are at it.
at the end of his post it says he cant hear the motor running, if he was having someone else turn them on while he stood next to them he may just have a bad ground. if thats the case he may want to check for power at the plug.
