can I put a TPI intake on an 84 CF engine?

Yes, I have a SuperRam which essentially is a tpi setup on my 84.

That would only be a problem if you put a CF on a TPI.

The CF has more clearance (for the breather) then a TPI does.

If your just doing a CFI to TPI its not worth it. Gains are minimul. However if your going to doing something like a miniram,stealthram or superram that would be a better project.
I have a 84 and last year did the conversion to the stealthram. I have the entire project and pics on another site though.

Thanks Jim. I'm running an Accel DFI Gen 6 unit. It's not a gen 7 but it works for me. Willie
