L 98 Idle Problem
Here's one for you experts.
This engine is in an '89, 6-speed
It is a 383 with TPIS Big Mouth intake and
stock throttle body.
TPIS Large tube runners with Lucas 29# injectors
The problem is that the car will not idle when it is cold, after
the engine warms up it idles fine.
Question, Does the chip need to be re-programed to handle
the larger injectors?

29 is on the big side, id say it does, but i dont quite believe its the cause of all your idle problems, although i cant remember why (there were numerous threads on this lately)

So is this a new problem, or did it just come up? That 383 and 29 lb. ers are running on the stock computer chip? Any work done right before this prob arose?
on a side note, I had a heck of a time with just my 26 lb.ers. Had to smooth them out in the chip.
