I’m going to be replacing my brake pads soon. I am thinking on either the EBC Green Stuff or the Hawk HPS. I like to hear from those that are using these. I would like to have some decent stopping capabilities and also low dust. No I’m not interested in the Ceramic pads at all. Any feedback will be appreciated.
I'm looking to do the same myself. VBP uses hawk and swears by them. I'd ask the tire rack guys: Luke. They sell both of them and test this stuff personally.
I really like my Hawks. That I have seen, only a few of us on the forum are using these pads so far. Haven't tried the EBC's. those I'll try next time.
My Hawk's do dust a little. Not a big deal as most Vette owners clean their car/wheels frequently anyways. The pads, to me, feel way better than stock and perform likewise. (note: 12" or HD 13" rotors use the same Hawk pad/part #. Hard to believe, but true)
I give them 2 thumbs up. :yesnod:
I've got the Green Stuff pads. They dust a bunch. The dust washes off easily. They are quiet. Overall, I'm not real impressed, nothing bad however. I'll probably go to Hawks for the next set.
