Re: LT1 vette and LT1camaro engine difference? (CORVETTE MIKE)
The intake is more restricted in the camaro. Don't know the other differences but it is the same basic setup. Kinda like comparing a vette lt-1 to an lt-4.
Re: LT1 vette and LT1camaro engine difference? (CORVETTE MIKE)
I thought that the vette LT1 has four bolt mains while the camaro LT1 has 2 bolt mains. I am not certain though. The intact duct (hose, air filter) and exhaust are obviously different.

Re: LT1 vette and LT1camaro engine difference?
The LT1 itself in the f-bodies is exactly the same as the Vette other than the f-body engines are 2 bolt mains and the Vettes are 4 bolt mains. The other differences are in the air intake (before the TB) and the exhaust, but these aren't really engine differences, just car differences. Stock to stock, an f-body will typically dyno 20-30 RWHP less than a Vette LT1 due to those two differences.
Re: LT1 vette and LT1camaro engine difference? (EvanLT1)
Evan is correct only change in the actual motor is the 4 vs. 2 bolt mains. However, if the LT1 motor was blown the replacement motors from GM were 4 bolts.
