Well the motor is in it's pretty much ready to go. The coilovers also got new shocks, still have to install the new NX nitrous, 3" exhaust, and rollcage. We fired it up today with open headers and it really sounds healthy, it needs a lot of fine tuning though. Here a picture of what it looks like.
thanks everyone, I have a really good feeling about this motor, she sounds extremely healthy!
Raysur, I am going to put on dual 3" resonators in the middle where the cat used to sit and just run dual 3" pipes all the way out without mufflers and LT-1 tips. We are going to try this first to see what kind of power it will make, and if it is too loud we'll put some 3" maganflows on.
Thanks JD, and No the wheels are not for sale anymore. They're not even mine to sell :p:
ask JD to see if he wants to sell them.
JD, BTW: the old setup was a TPI with 52mmt-body, SLP runner, Accel manifold, trickflow heads, 1 5/8 LPE headers, 24# injectors, 1.6 RR, built 700R-4 with 3000rpm stall, and 150 shot of nitrous, plus every little bolt on you could add. Still, it ran good. On the motor it ran 12.8-13.0 at 106mph and on the juice it ran a best of 11.7 at 117.9mph.
Here is another picture with the wheels on the car.
Thanks Zelement! I think your car is going to have some nutty go to match the show! what are you expecting for times? on and off the bottle?
Appreciate the comments about the wheels. I do remember your post on which color to get. You can thank my friend Frank for me freaking over your wheels. We we're surfing the forum one night, and He came across your sig...said Jay, look at these wheels! These are nice! Now they're gonna be mine!!! :D:D:D I can hardly wait.
Best of luck with tuning the new engine. Yes, Open headers are NASTY!!!!!!!!!

.
My friend with a '94 has the stock cats but its straight piped after that. It's loud. Your built motor and no cats are going to be crazy.
I was going crazy to find a mandrel bender in my area so I decided it wasn't worth it. Hydraulic bends aren't restrictive they are just oval shaped. Hopefully tommorrow I can redo my exhaust. I'm moving my cats back where the L98 has them and putting an x pipe before them. I'll post pics asap.
IF you really want a nice custom exhaust done on your 93, take it to Top Flight Corvette in San Diego. Since you are not that far away from SD, you should really give them a shot. Lawton is the owner and he'll do whatever you can think of, give him a call at 858-547-8388.
