i had taken my vette to a friend of mine who owns a shop and we lifted it
up to look underneath at the exhaust and
that is most stressing the front of the car on the frame is bent like some body big dip and failed to slow down through it
one side (passenger) is about 2inch higher than driver side
what needs to be done and how much is this gonna cost me, I am upset and
pissed off but the car has no other problems rear is fine it was not bottomed out cause the rest of it was not scraped or dented oil pan etc.
Love that box! :smash:
It is awsome when you get a full page typed in then you hit the "esc" key.
4 letter words seem to flow like hot butter from there,.... :mad
OK; is this a convertible? Are you looking at the two long braces running under the middle of the car, which form a big "X"? They are under the exhaust, and are the first thing to hit parking-lot exit ramps...
These get bent real easy. It takes a BMFH to straighten them again...("big hammer")...
As for bent frame rails...I think that would be a big job...As this is a uni-body car, and the sub-frames are bonded to the fiberglas panels that make up the inner body...
