It has been done B4 dual quad. See Simpson36 for his creation here or thirdgen.org. He had custom linkage done by him. I dont think CF linkage will work. so custom needed. Tranny cable is critical to get right.
I found his work... looks pretty nice! I was assuming that the short runners and more direct line to the intake valves would prevent some of the fuel puddling issues that apparently caused the reduction in runner cross-section...

Here's a pic of his work on a dual quad intake fwiw...

So I guess that means it's been done and don't know how well it works.. The BBC throttle body on a single intake looks a LOT easier to do and setup!

I have built a 475hp 495ftlb 383 from my pitiful 2 bolt main 84 350. As long as you keep horsepower under 500, ARP mainstuds will do the deal.

Go with an AED preped Holley 4150 750CFM doublepumper (flows 820cfm after mods), performance distributors with vacuum advance, Edelbrock RPM Airgap intake, COMP Cams 270 5444/5444 106 +4

This is a nice idling motor. 10:1 CR...can take 89 octane if you detune slightly, and not bad gas mileage if you keep your foot out of it.

I used Patriot freedom series aluminum heads CNC gasket matched to a FELPRO 1206 intake gasket that made the runners 190 cc (64cc combustion chambers). They flow about 235 int at .5 and 195 ex at .6 and just cost $895 a pair from Summit.

KB Claimer flat top pistons, scat 9000 stroker crank, scat I Beam rods that clear the block and cam without machining....makes for a nice ride.

BTW....I used an Aeromotive fuel regulator designed for conversion from FI to carb....just added a larger return line and still use the bone stock electric fuel pump and gas gauge sending unit.
