digital display issue

Default digital display issue
My digital display has started cutting in and out, it will flicker on and off and then comeback all the way for a while then cut out again.
Anyone have any ideas?

Bad grounds and cold circuit board solder are the usual suspects. Are you losing the functions of the dash or just the back lighting?

it's just the back lighting, everything else is working, I was thinking the cold could have affected it.

Possible it is a bulb issue, also: loose socket, poor contact, etc.

Make sure the electric eye is clean that is used to dim the gauges during the day.Usually has dust on it and it will look like the lights are out.
