Default oil pressure sender

would like to replace oil pressure sender.the one that tells pressure # in dash. i think its the one with one blade connector at the end .this is on a 1988 coupe automatic.thanks.

It's behind the distributer, ignorant spot to get at. Can't say for sure which of the 2 sensors you'll find there is it, but if you have your new one in hand,,, One is a main sensor and one is a switch for limp home mode I believe.

Two ways to do this. You can pull the distributor or pull the wiper motor.

I pulled the wiper motor when I replaced mine. It was a couple of years ago, and I recall that I was able to complete it in a single afternoon (I am not a mechanic), and while I found the location to be annoying, it didn't leave any seriously painfull memories (unlike other parts of my 86').
