SOCAL GUYS Supercharger Help
Is there anybody in socal, greater LA, that can swing by and lend me a hand.
I picked up a 93 Vette with a v1 vortech charger on it. I've done some info gathering and am pretty familiar with basic mechanics. I'm trying real hard to get the hang of this Supercharger thing but its proved itself challenging. Where I stand is the PO said the retardant box was bad. I checked it out and its all hooked up but seems to be bypassed at the moment. Above 3k rpm it has serious hesitation. I've given Greg at blowerworks a call and left a voicemail. If anyone can lend a hand or give pointers that'd be great. Also if anyone knows if vortech or anyone else will replace the box so I don't have to buy a brand new one.
Thanks

SO
I found that one of my plug wires had burned a bit on the exhaust manifold and was grounding out on it, I moved it away and covered it up HUGEEEE improvement still very slight hesitation above 4500 rpm I guess I'm just going to replace the box and have it installed properly.
Btw its running awesome really smooth great buy from a forum member and a well maintained car, I really am in love.
Anyone know the history behind this one?
The PO bought it pretty much how it is now, learning new things constantly.
