LT Headers = P0134 P0154
Getting these two codes - no o2 sensor activity - after installing the LT headers.
The Internet suggests:
1) using Bosch 13111 o2 sensors
2) using "rear" o2 sensors because they're accustomed to lower temps
Any input on these two solutions and/or others? I'll test the harnesses to make sure the wiring is OK, but assuming it is, any other suggestions for avoiding these diagnostic codes?
Thanks!
If you have checked the connectors? Try moving the front to the rear to see what happens.
Do you have access to a scanner? Can you see any output from the sensors (0-1000mv)?
Any damage to the 02 on removal?
You shouldn't have to switch 02 because the rear are used to lower temps. That would not explain a no activity code. If you're wiring is okay, the sensor is probably bad.

- The later o2 sensors like you you have on your '96 are heated and will work fine. Not only that, but the front and rear sensors themselves are identical (different pigtail lengths drive p/n differences)...if the rears are "accustomed to lower temps", by definition the fronts would be too.
- The rears are used to monitor catalytic converter efficiency, they cannot be used for fuel trim
- If you have deleted the rear o2 sensors, you should be seeing multiple codes for them as well, unless you have programmed them out
- AC Delco sensors (which are OEM) are some of the best out there, stick with them
The likely answer will be one of the following:
- The sensors are hooked up incorrectly or there is another wiring problem.
- Blown fuse associated with the o2 sensor heaters. the FSM can tell you what circuit the sensors are on.

I'll check the fuse this weekend, and make sure that I'm not grounding anywhere causing the fuse to blow. These headers had a fresh ceramic coat, so I'll also pull the sensors to see if they're fouled.
Thanks for the suggestions!
