battery replacement
The battery in my '98 will no longer hold a charge. I pulled the code from the top of my AC Delco and it was manufactured in yr 2000. Man, I guess I got my monies worth.

I had a 92 vert that I bought in 97 and it came with the original AC Delco battery. I was going to take the car on the 50th Anniversary cruise to BG from here in WA and the car still had the original battery.
I thought it might be a good time to replace anyway given the 6600 mile round trip. I had that battery tested and it survived 3 consecutive load tests on a carbon-pile tester and never got below 70% of it's charge.
So I bought a new AC Delco battery anyway and gave the old battery to a buddy who put it in his Chevy pick-up. It lasted until 2006.
