Replace Resonator with X-Pipe?

Default Replace Resonator with X-Pipe?
I was thinking of replacing my resonator with an X-pipe, I already have a SS MagnaFlow mufflers that sound great, but what would be the benefits of an X-pipe and how much louder does it get? I'am note really worried about the noise level as much as the added resonance, if any? If anyone has done this please help!

Resonance is a little less, the sound of the exhaust is a litle higher pitched.
