Was that on a zf6? Was he using the clutch at all?
I heard once that if you don't lift off the gas, (still using th clutch though) and shift ultra fast that you will improve et.
However, im not willing to risk valve float, etc. To try it

Hi Kim. I was at Infineon last night. Ran a 10.55 followed by a 10.53. Then lost 3rd gear on the return road. Trailered home, pulled the tranny and saw the speedo connector may have been 1/2 on. Decided to pull it anyway for a freshenup. I'll be out next Wednesday weather permitting shooting for 10.40s. Can you make it?

i tell ya something that hasnt had to be done in a long time, we use to have to put a crane inner string the the Long shifters when they first came out to keep from going back into first instead of third, and Long wont want to talk about that ,all the blown motors and races lost, me at the us nationals in indy. sorry guy's i'm in my 60's now and your thread is just reminising, i use to drag race more then eat. thanks for the thread
