Default 94 Auto trans leak

Have not driven my car much since I have had it but I finally got my interior finished and took it for a long drive and when I got up today I saw trans fluid under the car, most of it is off the passenger side of the trans but the whole pan and t/c cover had fluid on it. Any suggestions on where to start ? I could see clean fluid up on the right side of the trans but the way air blows around under these cars I have no idea where to start. I have cleaned the whole undercarriage so I might be able to tell easier after I drive it again.
Thanks

With the car on jackstands, take the cover off, clean off all the oil, start the car and see where the leak is coming from.

Trans pan gasket is the most common leak. These will leak when the car is just sitting.

Its not leaking when its sitting. It has sat pretty much since I have had it except for a few 15 minute drives. This was after 2 45 minutes interstate drives.

cleaned it up and drove it again. Does not leak sitting running but after I drove it there is so muck fluid and most of it on the passenger side of my car that its impossible to tell right now where it came from. It leaves an overspray on the rear of the car.

I hope its that easy to see. This car has been one problem after another. It has a high rpm vibration as well. when I drive it hard it vibrates before it shifts. Also seems like its on the passenger side of the car. It does not do it under normal conditions just when I run it hard but its very noticable when it does it.

It sounds like its only leaking when under pressure while driving. I'd be checking all the fluid lines carefully where they enter and exit the transmission. Check the dipstick seal, and the seal around the electrical connector that goes into the valve body. Are you sure it's not overfilled? If your lucky PeteK will stumble on this and give you better feedback.

I was actually low the other day. Added a quart and it was ok. It has since pissed out a bunch again. I am going to have to clean it all again as I drove it too much this weekend and its covered again.

It was the front bearing seal on mine. Make sure you change the dipstick seal also.

It was a cooler line that had been installed without any teflon tape, easy fix except I had to take the exhaust of to get to it.

Learned a little more about it. Drove it and kept it in 1st gear and it vibrated because of the torque, not the rpm so I need to check the u joints. How do you check the c-beam ? Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks
