Default Need FX3 advise

Bought this 94 Coupe 4 mounths ago and I am repairing a few things.
The LF shock had a broken gear under the actuator. I replaced it with the steel gear, but noticed that the shaft in the shock will spin without any stops. Shouldn't there be three settings? So I decided to send them in for rebuild but the previous owner said he just had all the FX3 shocks rebuilt. Is there a right or wrong way to put that gear on top of the FX3 shock? It looked pretty simple.
Maybe it is time to go to a Covette shop? Seems like they have a $1000 cover charge to get in the door.

I just sent two actuators to them. Didn't think to ask about the shocks.

I like your security system. He doesn't mind the heat?

FX3 shock on a `94 should only rotate 90°.

Every time you start your Vette the FX3 system does a self check and in doing so the shocks and actuators are set to the starting position.

Find another Corvette shop.

The Captain Z actuators rebuilt for $125 include the upgraded SS parts?
