Default shocks

hello all does anyone know if the suspension light on a 94 vet can be shut off by installing resister's from radio shack in the wire harness going to shock actuator.i saw many did it on c5 but i don't know if it works on c4's.the suspension light is on and i want it off,of coarse cost is an issue because to replace the shocks the right way is about 800 bucks.the car ride's great only has 85k.shocks feel good but just want light off
