Which shocks they are about the same price range
QA1 non adjustable $80.00 each
Bilstiens $80.00
Koni Adjustable $90.00
It a DD Street car not a race car never will see the track.
I just bought 4 Koni Adjustables from Tire Rack for $556 shipped. I made my decision after reading tons of threads here and other places, talking to friends that autocross regularily, and talking with Randy at DRM. Randy was very helpful, even though I chose the Koni rather than the Bilstiens that he sells.
koni sports are awesome. i've used them on my mustang, integra and a few corvettes. across the board on multiple platforms they are a great buy. lifetime warranty and the ability {on the c4 version} to handle about 750/lb in of spring in the front and somewhere around 550-650lb out back should the car ever get track oriented. with stock springs you can adjust the rebound to your preference.
I'm not sure but from what I understand the Koni Red shocks are for track use and may be double adjustable. More expensive too. However, I looked at Koni's website and the didn't seem to have a red shock for my '94.
I never had anyone recomend the Koni red shocks over the Sports, so I didn't even go there.

Thanks I wanted the normal shocks not the race shocks.

NO KYB’s
I just re-read your original post.. It would probably be a better choice for you to just order the HD Bilsteins from Mid-America for $299
The HD Bilstein is the softer of the shocks which was used in the base model FE3 Suspension. You could go stiffer by getting the Z51 shock from Bilstien as well.
there is such a thing as a double adjustable race shock but i have no idea what color they are for the corvette. a quick google would probably tell me BUT, the sports are yellow and koni use to make a red shock that was actually softer than the sport called the special. it's an old design though. the yellow sports are that great bang for the buck shock
and they are MUCH better than the bilstein z51 or HD, you won't regret it. the bilsteins just do not have enough rebound valving for the stock springs let alone anything stiffer.
Koni red (=Special ie. base model), bench adjustable - have not tried these in vettes.
Koni yellow (=Sport, better than Special) - very good. The fronts are **** adjustable, rears are bench adjustable. I think not available to early C4s.
Bilstein (with Z51 valving) - does not stop front swaying in all cars (incl mine). Non adjustable.
QA1 single adjustables, very nice but have only used them in C3.
the only drawback to buying koni used is that there is no warranty. that lifetime warranty is only for the first buyer.....or if you know the who bought them and can get a receipt that doesn't have his name on it...well..you know where that could go
