Well my 93 has been sitting for a few months, so i decide to take it out for the 1st time this spring. When i got out on the open road it didnt feel right to me, but thought maybe it was just me cause i hadnt drove it in so long. When i got back home i could smell a strange and seen smoke coming from behind the motor in front of the fire wall. The next day i took it out again and the smell was even stronger. It feels like the tranny isnt shifting like it should. This car only has 60,000 miles on it. Any ideas? Thanks guys!
Thanks tehcarguy, today i did notice its leaking tranny fluid and it shifts fine 1-3 gears but doesnt seem to wanna go into OD. However it shifts fine if u hand shift it. How do i adjust the TV cable?
P.S. I did check the tranny fluid and its topped off wasnt that low YET!
Theres a D shaped button next to the throttle body. Press that button and push the slider towards the firewall and release the button. Now open the throttle all the way at the throttle body and it should re adjust.
Sorry for the delay was not around computer yesterday. Well i never found a D shaped button on the TB. I drove it again Saturday, i am kinda worried about driving it now seem to be getting worse.

Look ON the cable mount for the TV cable. You'll see the button inside the mount. press that inward and slide the cable body thats IN the mount, toward the front just a couple clicks...1/8" at a time. Open throttle fully one time to complete the adjustment. test drive. Pulling more tension on the cable makes the upshift longer/harder/later. Softening the tension will allow it to upshift at the earliest possible time and do so gently with lite throttle.
When its cold check the eng oil and coolant. You might be seeing a leaking intake gasket dripping on the exhaust back there..
