With 150000+ miles, my throttle body is not always returning to idle as it should. Is anyone using the one linked here? Any issues ?

I wanted to get a BBK TB to replace my worn out stock one but I heard that the vacum hose connections and other connections are not pre-drilled. I like the one you linked. It looks clean and works like stock except it's a 52mm. For 200 bucks, thats pretty cheap & free shipping.

Good chance your throttlebody shafts are worn and allowing a vacuum leak to occur. Also, carbon and pcv crud could be building up inside the blades preventing the blades from closing resulting in your idle problems. Remove the ducting, open the butterflies and spray some fuel injcton or carburator cleaning solution in the plenum around the butterflies and see if that helps. Willie

I just started using that TB on my 383. Working great, looks great, and came with a combination of linkage setups. Got mine from somewhere else but for the same price.
I like it.

Consider having your stock TB increased to 52mm. It's cost effective (appx $150) and even with the restrictive stock intake, I got a small but noticeable increase in the top end, with absolutely no bottom end loss in response. I used a guy by the name of Matt Blum; he has a machine shop in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He not only ports it to 52mm, but adds bearings to the shaft, which the stock TB does not have. Real quality workmanship, and a great guy to work with. Contact info is

Thats exactly what I wanted to hear. I hate the idea of shipping mine out for repair. That will be option 2.
