shuts off when driving
Have a 1986 c4 that shuts off when driving replaced fuel pump relay and fuel pump. No codes when it shuts off it will restart after 20min need help.

When it dies, will it crank but not start, or no crank at all until its cooled for 20mins?

and be sure to grease up the new one with silicone ign grease. Even though inside the distributer, more is better. The module gets hot and shuts down. The silicone grease helps transfer the heat.

Make sure you use heat transfer grease not regular silicon grease. Big difference. It was once available at Radio Shack but not sure anymore.
