is there anyway to tell what length pushrods you need without going through and installing the roller rockers? just trying to see if i gave you all the specs on the heads and cam and knowing im using ls7 lifters...could anyone tell me what pushrods i need? heads:
LT1 LE2 heads consist of :
Manley 2.00/1.56 6000 series valves
Patriot Gold Extreme springs (155 lbs seat and 400 lbs open)
Steel retainers and locks
205 cc intake port
milling, cleaning and assembly
flow about 275/190 CFM
check out oepushrods they are in mt clemens,mi. they make alot of the pushrods other people are selling,they have checking tools also.my cylinder head guy told me about them years ago.

And one of these so you dont compress the lifter instead of open the valve:
What you do is assemble one lifter, checker pushrod, rocker, checker spring, and valve. use a marker to color the top of the valve before putting the rocker arm on. Rotate the engine so it opens and closes the valve a couple times. The worn off marker should be in the middle of the valve top. If it is to one side or the other the pushrod is too long or too short, adjust it accordingly.
