What do you guys use to break in a new motor? And grade? This is a new ZZ4.

Plain old cheap 30 weight non-detergent oil.

Id use regular dino oil, the builder will suggest something, or if youre doing it all yourself id use somethin like 10w30, 10w40 or 20w50.

That question was raised by one of our customers at my dad's marine shop. A call to Jasper engines was answered by "any 10-30 or 40 weight will work fine".
