It looks that way doesn't it?
That's the flash from my cellphone.
I just took the car on its first night trip of any length, the headlights remain great. Road signs on the interstate are very well lit due to the pattern. No one flashed me on a two lane road.

Burning Brakes
I just read this entire thread and am confused ....
Is there an easier way?
I have Silver Stars now ...
Can I simply change my buLbs out and not my housing?
I don't want to hassle with the housing, taking out the entire headlight, etc.
Please advise - THANKS

No, you must change the housings. It will take maybe 15 minutes to do so, the directions for moving the lights to change the bulbs (sealed beam housings) are in your owner manual. As I recall, it's like 1 screw on each side to remove the cover and then 4 that hold the housing in place?
A side benefit is that if a bulb burns out, you no longer have to take the housings out.

Ray- Silver star beams are good. But these Hella e-codes are amazing. The road markers and signs are outstanding and super bright. Installing is really no different then replacing a seal beam currently installed. I know c5 posted a diagram that involved relays and new wires. But that isn't really needed.
Set the housing to remove the headlight cover, remove the bracket that holds the old bulb in place. pull out the old bulb and disconnect the hardness. Install new bulb into e-code attach to current headlight wiring. Install retaining bracket, cover trim piece that looks nice. Adjust and enjoy. I went slow and cleaned when I did mine I think I was around 30 minutes to have new headlights.

Gdl2165. I do not have the trucklites LEDs, but got the JW speakers instead.
Best headlights i have ever had.
There is minimal glare to oncoming traffic or when behind a vehicle, and the light output and pattern is orders of magnitude better than anything else.
Low beam
High beam.
Sorry about the blurred shot, but it was a cell pic..

These JW Speaker LED Headlights ARE hands down, the best performing lights for our C4's. Plug and play,no harness', relays, or wiring upgrades needed, no heat issues and they come w/a 4year manufacturers warrantee. They may cost more but are the absolute best C4 headlights! So, I ended up getting a C4, went with a 96 CE Convertible. As promised in my earlier post, the first mod I've done is to replace the truly atrocious stock headlights with some TruckLite LEDs. Those JW Speakers are amazing but I think these are darn close and only 1/3 the cost. Got them off Ebay for $370.
And without further ado; On to the pictures...
Low beams against the garage door:
Low Beams against the garage - zoomed in. When you're up close against something like the door you see a hot spot from each light. On the road, these hot spots aren't evident as they merge in the distance to become one bright area.
High Beams against the garage door - I took these with my phone so this pic actually washed out a bit.

I went with a set of the $80 LED headlight and $? fogs from Amazon. The fogs are almost useless. I was just telling the wife, as I had just driven our 2013 Chrysler Town and Country that has good, modern lights, that my Corvette headlights are better than the van. That's a nice thing to be able to say.
They are a direct replacement for the originals, although there was a little trimming of the metal headlight bucket required. I also added resistors.

Scattered light in an H4 housing is no fun for on coming drivers... I went with the only proper way to install HID bulbs. Projector head lamps. And I believe this is "legal" where as installing HID bulbs into an H4 style housing is "illegal" but laws may differ from state to state...
