I'm just about to button up the Opti swap and Electric Water pump swap but I'm having an issue with the CSR. I ran an inline fuse 20a attached to the batter but it's not spinning up, I assume I should hear it? I've tested the battery, checked the lines, fuse everything looks good. It would be my luck that I'd get a defective one? Where does everyone have their electric pump connected to? I would like it to kick on when the key is ON.
If you have good power and a good ground it should spin up. I used one of the wires on one of the fan relays that is hot when the key on to activate a relay for the pump.
Are you running a relay? If not get a painless waterpump relay kit and run it like aminnich has done.My csr pump said 15 amp fuse,I take it the pump is installed in the housing and they run pretty smooth and you will not feel it running, check and see if you have coolant flow.
Thanks for the pointers I'm not sure which fan relay I should use I know they're on the drivers side of the radiator shroud. I have the EWP running now there was a grounding issue on my part.
If anyone can give some pointers on which relay I would appreciate it.

On my 95 if you look close you can see where the pink wire on the front relay is spliced.
