Oh damn
ok guys, im a little worried. i've recently changed the water pump on my car, and after about a week, my engine is sputtering a bit at ~5k rpm. is the opti in my 95 going bad on me, if so, i might be in trouble.

I'd check the the harness connector at the opti dist. to be sure it's clean and dry where the terminals meet first. But if the water pump was leaking/seeping for a while, the opti is more then likely going south.
You may get by with a new cap,rotor and seal, if the coolant hasn't damaged the decoder. This would also be a good time for plugs and plug wires.
