Default I need a headlight replacement recommendation

Last Saturday the local Corvette repair shop held it's annual open house" it was a awesome event + a great job Phil" while there I ran across a 94 owner who had replaced his head lights with one that has a light blue tint inside. he said that this head light almost doubled his low beam range, later he told me that he purchased them from NAPA but upon visiting my local NAPA store I can't find them. dose anybody know where I can find these improved head lights? I think that there made by slyvania with a part# H6054 their Xtravision, Dose part number sound right?
thanks again boonie

I was thinking of driving down for that but ended up doing some other stuff. What do you think of that place? Are their prices reasonable or in the "speciality" range?

An H6054 is just a halogen headlight bulb. They're not blue.

In 2002 I went with a Hella E code Headlight Conversion with 100/55 bulbs. Probably twice the light after the conversion, but more importantly light pattern was much wider and longer. Check out this vendor, they are very helpful in making the selection that fits your needs.

Hellas! Like the Agent suggested

Blue tints are crap and look stupid on a Vette.

Leave those to the children in their 4 bangers.....

Maybe so but it was easier to change bulbs than serve in the military & defend your right to your opinion.

Well there pilgrim. I too served to support your Mommy's freedom.

That being said, blue headlights are still for sissy's.

Get the Ciebie lamps a relay kit and 130/100w bulbs. You'll see stuff in time to drive around it at night not just run over it.
In the rain at night you can really see; the sharp cutoff keeps the light down not reflecting off the rain and back in your eyes.
Drivers in the other direction don't get blinded since the light is on the road not up in the trees.
Well worth the time and effort. Relays require some wiring upgrades since the high watt bulbs will just melt out your dimmer switch and blow fuses.

Another vote for Daniel Stern Lighting. Changed mine over four years ago and never looked back.
