Hello, I am currently replacing the 4+3 in my 85 with a TKO 500. The doug nash has 4 electrical connections on the side and I need to identify which ones do what.
Put it this way, Mine only had three connections connected.
I just went out and checked and there are only three on mine. One by the 1-2 shifter (middle lever) one above the drain plug (behind the reverse lever) and one on the tail shaft (VSS).
No idea what year my tranny is from (my Vette is a mutt) - it is a an early 86 and I have the TV cable (heard that the 86 on was electrically operated kickdown but mine is an early model). Maybe the other connection is for the kickdown?
For the TKO I only need to figure out witch plugs are for the speedometer and the reverse light. I would love to see a picture that labels each connector.
