Default blower motor problem

I have a 87 with blower motor problems. The 5 amp inline fuse is good, I don't have voltage on the blower connector, and I don't have power at the BCM (I think I am measuring at the BCM it is right next to the blower) connector. Any suggestions, we are on the way to the library to see if we can get a FSM and try to trace down our problem. I have heard the ground points on the vette could cause electrical problems, don't know where gnd points are, I guess the FSM will have that info.

If NONE of the hot wires are hot at the 4 or 2 plug on the BCM<, then go to the fusable links and fuses. Assuming the control head is working, power to the blower and clutch begins at the BCM.
The BCM is not next to the blower. BCM is mounted in the top of the evaporator for cooling. It has 2 plugs in it. 3 screws secure it to the evap box.

grounds are the cause of many performance problems. Not usually working parts though.
Look at the blower male pins also. These have a habit of melting inside and loosing contact.
Good money says the BCM is toast. Common. But for $125 you wanna do some checking...

There should be power at all times on the BCM red wire, if not fusible link is likely bad. If the link is blown you may have a bad or going bad blower motor which may have blown the fusible link.

Well after a few bad starts we came up with a fix for our problem. The in line fuse to pin 2 of the small connector on the BCM must have been open. we decided it would be easier to splice into the red wire on pin 2 of the small connector at the BCM and put an inline fuse holder and new wire connecting it to the hot terminal just behind the battery. We did just that and everything works the way it is suppose to. Hard time getting to this point but all is well.
You folks who responded to our orginal message asking for help all identified the problem we had as a possiability, so we want to thank you all for your expertise and response. The schematics really helped. We did go to the library and used their in house software for Mitchell repair info and printed out the sheets we needed, which was a big help also.

I have a 86 C4 with a heater blower problem. I blows on high only. So you'd think find the relay and change it. Where is the blower relay? most cars have a breaker box and a 2nd box but I can't find one on my vette.
