Crazy interior lights
On occasion when I turn the car off the interior lights go off and stay off even when i open the door. The surcurity light on the radio clock will stay on (it should go off)
If I open the passenger door the lights go on.
If I put the key in the ignition turn it to start and turn it off the lights will stay on like normal until I leave and close the door.
What's the deal here?

When they dont go on try hitting the passenger side lower dash panel. There is a relay behing the panel but I don't remember what they call it. Mine acts similarly. If I hit the panel the lights will come onwhen the door is open. Hopefully you just have a bad door switch.

Also check your hatch switch, that's what was causing my problems.

your problem may be that the door switch pin is sticking and wd-40 may help...(i've been there).. at first. if you use wd-40 then you will have the reverse problem. the lights will come on when the door is closed and every time you hit a bump. this is because the wd-40 allowed the pin to settle further into the switch. the door switches on the 94 are adjustable. you can pull the pin out a bit and it will make better contact with the car when the door is closed. so do what you have to do to free it up.
