I am re-freshing my head soon and want to know the best valves to buy for my 91. I will be using beehive springs.

The best might depend on application.. Road racing? Drag racing? street use? autoX? RPM is handy too though guessing under 6500..

Manly Titanium Intake Valves & Orange high temp Titanium Ex valves.
Inconel 751 Ex Valves. Have them Custom made.

You need at least $2 K.
I have bought custom made Ti Manley valves made to my specs.

That was before the year 2007.

Times are tough yet around the world.

Both over kill on a low reving street engine. ( up to 6,800 RPM)

Does undercut really give you lower weight?
Does it or swirl polish help performance or is it bling?
Thanks for your comments

I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet but...

Ferrea makes a hollow stem stainless valve that cost about 1/3 of what Ti cost. IMO a waste of $$$ for a street car with stock sized valves and beehive springs....

Who told you you need ultra light valves?? You can't turn enough RPM with those springs and hyd cam to need anything exotic valve wise.

Ferrea makes a 5000 Series valve that will work great. REV, SI, PEP, and Manley all make off the shelf $6-$10 a peice valves that will also do a fine job.

It's your $$$ and you can spend it as you wish - but anything more expensive is just a waste.

as DDALGREN mentioned, it all depends on what you are using the motor for.

Default usage

I will be using it for autocross and performance street use. I am going to put in a mild cam ComCam Xtreme Energy™, XR264HR meant for tuned port applications-part #08-501-8
specs:
http://www.compcams.com/Company/CC/c...?csid=194&sb=2

I will use matching hydraulic roller lifters for the cam, 1.5 self-adjusting roller rockers, , 1.415 beehive springs, Double Roller Timing Chain along with a ported plenum and ported SLP runners 24 lb injectors. Also will use a new throttle body that was bored to 52mm and got new flow-matched 24lb injectors and a custom chip.

If you are sticking with stock size valves and your originals are in good shape, just reuse them.
