Under Dash clicking

My 90 has been sitting awhile so I plugged in the Battery Charger for awhile. When I cranked it over it started right up. I let it run awhile and when I shut it off it started clicking under the dash for about 20 sec. Then when I went to start it nothing. Anyone got any ideas what it could be? THANKS Pipe

Thanks I thought the Battery was Charged up enough. It didn't take long to kill it though. Pipe

I had the same thing happen recently while I was replacing the carpeting in a friend's '88 convertible. Turned out to be the security system causing the clicking noise. I cured it by unlocking one of the doors with the key which turned off the security system. I might add that the battery was weak at the time and may have contributed to the problem.
