86 Delco Bose Tape player not working, Keeps ejecting?

86 Delco Bose Tape player not working, Keeps ejecting?
When ever you put in a tape in it switches to back and front play then ejects the tape. Anyone have a idea on a fix, I car is all orig so I don't want to change the radio and I would prefer not to remove it also. Hoping someone can help me.

I have an 84 with the Delco/Bose radio cassette player and had issues both with the cassette and the radio. The car is all original. I did end up pulling the radio out and sending it to Doctor Don's in Texas. Don't let his website fool you; he did a great job and the cost was fair and upfront. I'd contact them if you don't mind pulling the radio out. It's not that hard. Good luck.

Take the unit out (its very easy to remove - 15 minute job - max) and send it to these guys for repair. They do great work at very reasonable prices. Check it out.
