Default Which brand Harmonic Balencer

I building a 383 stroker with 1 piece main seal external balenced.

Which is good Hamonoic Balencer to get.

I was thinking of a Summit house brand for $60.00 I was told before there stuff is name brand but with there name on it for less cash.

But after doing some reading It seems they come apart on you I dont want the problem.

So what brand Is good with out going broke doing so.

he motor will not rev past 5500 ever 5200 every blue moon it will be a cruiser.

Go to Napa.. get a direct replacement. if it doesn't go over 6,000 RPM, theirs is a nice unit.

Looks like the one from Napa is a Dorman. Which is the same thing at Autozone or Advance Auto Parts.

I went to grummpy web site he said the H/B from Summite the one I ended up oredering is good for what I am going to use it for.

I also oreded all the ods and ends I need to put the motor back togheter.

Plus a 8 Qt oil pan this costing me $700.00 in parts.

I dont Know if this is a good thing I already have the new cam liffters $190.00 and rocker arms $320.00 new valve cover $100.00 gaskets ect $50.00 thats started this finding this mess out.
That total $660.00

So if I didn't already have that stuff add that t the total to get it running again.

The roller rocker arm and timing cain set, that were in the motor when this happen are bad the cam and liffter looked ok but why chance it.

Grand total less oil and other fluids $1360.00
