what is the length of the 85-89 MAF. I know the Diameter but need to know the length and I forgot to measure that. I am planning on picking up a piece of Tubing to fit inplace of the MAF..since I am running Speed Density..

THANKS

Between 3 1/2 and 3 9/16"... I'll be doing the same thing soon enough... will probably do SD upgrade when I go to LT1 converted intake.

just get a traffic cone, and cut it to size from the throttle body to the stock air filter housing. I had to cut the 2 clamps that hold the maf to the housing to the traffic cone would fit flush.

Mine is sealed from the bottom and it seems to work great.

But, mabey lonely traffic cones on the street are a rarity your way.....

:troll

If no one else replys i'll measure a spare maf when I get home.
Well I want a quick fix.. I am going to buy the PVC on the way home.. That is the last piece I need for the motor.. Then I can close the hood :D

It's 3 1/2" ridge-to-ridge and 4 3/4" end-to-end.
