with door panels off...what all should i replace...
ok...so my 94 coupe needs the window guides/stops replaced....im going to order those...but what else should be done while i have the panels off....everything works with the exception of the pass window not working every once in a while for no aparent reason....
im thinking the outer window seals....what else should i consider....thank you for sharing the knowledge...

both the inner and outer window seals. some people add add'l insulation to the door panels. I also lubricated the lock mechanism/rods while it was apart.
(Bypassed the Bose setup too. That requires pulling the speakers and wiring around the amps. But mine is an 89. I think your yr is different...don't know.)

If your upper door panel does NOT stay in the channel on the door, you may want to check the 4 or 5 plastic ribs on the inside of the door panels to see if they have split and seperated. I used some small metal braces to fix the problem. Both of door panels on my C4 had split plastic ribs. This is a pretty common problem with C4's, so give a good visual inspection for splitting.
