That's normal. You should hear the fans kick in at about 220, and then the temp should drop. Or if you leave your AC on, the fans will always be on.

Check the area between the rad and the condenser, and clean out any debris you find in there. Tons of threads on this topic. The search function is your friend.

primary fan should be on around 220*---secondary on around 226*-227*---one or both should also run w/AC on depending on pressures. If the fans do run and you have 230-235* as stated above check for road debri partially blocking air flow through the condenser and radiator.

For any car: Non a/c: Whatever set temperature is burned into the Programming from the Coolant Temp Sensor to turn on the Main and/or Secondary Fan, is the Temperature the fan(s) should turn on at. The increased air flow from one or more fans should drop the Coolant Temperature. If it stays the same or rises, it's messed up. For a/c: Whatever pressure is burned into the Programming when signaled from a Switch or Pressure Sensor screwed into the High Pressure Line, the fan(s) should turn on and the Pressure should drop. If it doesn't, something is messed up. Easy to diagnosis or allay concerns with a Scan Tool (which on Pressure Sensor cars displays the Coolant Temperature and Pressure from the Pressure Sensor). On cars with a Pressure Switch, you need a Manifold Gage Set along with a Scanner.
